ree

The Yamaha YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale 2025 took place from August 15–17 in Uddevalla, Sweden, alongside Round 16 of the FIM Motocross World Championship. A total of 118 young riders from 27 nations gathered to race on the same legendary track as the world’s top MXGP stars. Their mission: to earn a coveted spot at the BLU CRU Masterclass, where the most promising talents receive expert training, mentorship, and the chance to secure Yamaha support for the 2026 season.

At the heart of Yamaha Racing’s development pyramid, the BLU CRU program provides a clear and structured pathway for young riders. From grassroots racing on YZ65 and YZ85 bikes to the European championships, MX2, and ultimately MXGP, the program equips future stars with the skills, professionalism, and opportunities they need to rise through the ranks.

This year’s SuperFinale was held at the iconic Glimminge Motorstadion, a hard-packed and stony circuit carved into the Swedish cliffsides. A fixture on the MXGP calendar since 2001, Uddevalla delivered a thrilling stage for the first-ever SuperFinale in Scandinavia — a fitting tribute to a region that produces many of the sport’s brightest young riders.

Results Across the Classes

  • YZ125: Britain’s Drew Stock delivered a spectacular win after a dramatic battle for the lead.

  • YZ85: New Zealand’s Nixon Coppins dominated from the start, taking a flawless victory.

  • YZ65: Poland’s Tymon Andrzejewski made history by becoming the nation’s first-ever SuperFinale winner.

The top finishers from each category will now move on to the prestigious BLU CRU Masterclass, where the ultimate prize awaits: Yamaha’s full racing support for the next step in their careers.

Among this year’s global field was Thailand’s own NueMek Aranchai Prayongrat, who impressed on the international stage by finishing P13 in the YZ85 class. After years of hard work and dedication in motocross, NueMek’s achievement at Uddevalla marks an important milestone in his journey and an inspiration for aspiring riders across Asia.

Moreover, two riders from Japan also competed in the finals. In the YZ125 class, Aoi Takagi, starting from 13th on the grid, charged into the race with determination. Unfortunately, she got caught up with other riders on the opening lap and crashed, forcing her to retire from the race.

In the YZ85 class, Hyunosuke Eto, who qualified 12th, navigated the opening lap in 20th position. He steadily advanced through the pack and crossed the finish line in 15th place.

This event perfectly reflects the goals of YZ BLU CRU, Yamaha’s youth development program, which is designed to nurture young motocross talent by providing competitive opportunities, training support, and exposure to international racing. Events like this help develop the next generation of champions while promoting sportsmanship and skill development.

Congratulations to all the riders for their incredible efforts—here’s to more thrilling races ahead!
