“Yes, I’m bLU cRU! So, we’re Yamaha Family!”

The global Yamaha Motor Group supports the motorsports lifestyle through the "bLU cRU" program. As part of this initiative, a dazzling international competition for bLU cRU riders from around the world was held at the iconic venue of the Motocross of Nations, a traditional nation-based competition. Representing the United States, children lined up their YZ bikes on the starting grid of this dream stage, watched quietly by Jennifer Davey.

"Yamaha products may be recognized for their performance and quality, but I hope people feel something beyond that," said Jennifer Davey, an event manager who has worked at Yamaha Motor US for 27 years, as she stood near the off-road course amidst clouds of dust. "When people think of Yamaha, I want them to associate it with the joy and experiences that enrich their lives—for their families, friends, and everyone beyond." Her gaze was fixed on the young boys competing on their blue motocross bikes alongside peers from other countries.

The bLU cRU program, which originated in the United States, has now expanded worldwide, taking various forms. It provides diverse support to those striving to race faster, creates opportunities for newcomers to enjoy racing, and fosters connections with teammates and ambassadors. By doing so, the program continuously enhances its value and reaches a wide range of people.

Through her involvement with bLU cRU, Jennifer hopes to deliver a sense of joy and pride in being part of the "Yamaha family." She wants everyone connected to Yamaha and bLU cRU—whether they are young dreamers, their families and friends, coworkers, or partners such as dealerships—to share in this feeling.“Yes, I’m bLU cRU! So, we’re Yamaha Family!”
