Round 3 Race Day  — Twin Ring Motegi, Japan

Another high-intensity weekend wraps up at Twin Ring Motegi as the Yamaha R3 BLU CRU Asia-Pacific Championship delivered non-stop racing action from start to finish.
From early morning preparations to the final flag, riders and teams remained fully focused with no delays or weather disruptions. Race 1 started on time and quickly turned into a thrilling display of pace, precision, and pressure.Japanese rider Hinata Okada continued his incredible form in front of a home crowd, delivering a flawless 10-lap performance to take the victory. Hunter Corney kept the chase alive, finishing just 0.597 seconds behind, showcasing his consistency and determination in the title fight. Phoenix O’Brien completed the podium with a confident ride to third, staying strong under pressure.  It was a tough opening race for Valentino Knezović, who was aiming to cut into Okada’s championship lead. A crash in Race 1 saw him walk away with no points — a setback in the battle for the title. But the fight was far from over.
In Race 2, the intensity only grew as the front pack engaged in a fierce contest for every position. Okada remained sharp and strategic, finishing strong once again to extend his lead in the standings. However, Knezović and Corney came back with fire, pushing hard and joining Okada on the podium — proving they’re not backing down as the championship nears its final leg. With full points collected in Japan, Okada leaves Motegi with a clean sweep — 100% domination on home ground — and now leads the title standings. The next round of the Yamaha R3 BLU CRU Asia-Pacific Championship will take place this September in Australia, where everything will be on the line again.
